Mandala

What is it?

It is a circular design that features geometric shapes, patterns, and symbols arranged around a central point. The word "mandala" comes from Sanskrit and loosely translates to "circle" or "center." Mandalas are often used in meditation and are believed to have a calming effect on the mind and body. They are also used for artistic and decorative purposes.

Why mandala?

Mandalas are often used for therapeutic purposes such as relaxation, stress relief, and meditation.

The circular, symmetrical design of a mandala is believed to represent the universe, and coloring or creating one is said to help the individual achieve a sense of inner peace and harmony. In addition, the repetitive nature of coloring a mandala can induce a meditative state that helps to quiet the mind and reduce anxiety.
